Ketty Lester (born Revoyda Frierson; August 16, 1934) is an American singer and actress. She is best known for her 1962 hit single "Love Letters". The song reached the top 5 of the charts in the United States and the United Kingdom. She is also known for her role as Hester-Sue Terhune in the television series Little House on the Prairie (1977–1983).

Lester was born in Hope, Arkansas. She is an African-American.[1]
